Texas Style Beef


2 kg Beef (Whole)

1 tbsp Chili Powder (optional)

1 tbsp Cayenne Pepper

1 tbsp Paprika Powder

1 tsp Ground Coriander

1 tbsp Salt (or more to taste)

1 tbsp Garlic Powder

1 tbsp Onion Powder

5 clove Garlic (crushed)

1 pc Onion (chopped)

1 tbsp Ground Black Pepper

1 tbsp Sugar

2 tsp Mustard

2 tsp Dried Bay Leaves

2 tsp Dried Basil

350 mL Liquid Beef Stock (Dilute in Warm Water if you have Beef Stock Powder)

1. Preheat the oven to 175° C
2. Mix the Chili Powder, Paprika Powder Salt, Cayenne Pepper, Coriander, Garlic, Garlic Powder, Onion, OnionPowders, Black Pepper, Sugar, Mustard, Basil, and Bay Leaves. Rub the Raw Beef with these spice mixtures.Massage the raw beef and make sure you have covered all of the surface. Wrap it in cling wrap plastic and place it in the refrigerator for ± 3 hours.
3. Roast it in roasting pan for ± 40 minutes at 175° C
4. Add the beef stock in the roasting pan.
5. Lower the oven to 175° C, Cover the Pan and cook it to another ± 3.5 hours.
6. Slice the smoky beef, and serve it with the remaining beef stock from the pan.
7. Enjoy it with a bowl of Salad with Citrus Dressing.
