Shabu Hot Pot Recipe

INGREDIENTS

500g Beef Thin sliced (shabu cuts)
1.5 L Hot Water
200mL Beef Broth
1 tsp Sesame Oil
1 pack Kombu Seaweed
4 packs Noodles
1 pack Tofu
1 small Bottle Ponzu
2 tbsp Salty Soy Sauce
1 pack Enoki
1 pack of Shiitake Mushrooms
2 Carrots
1/2 Chinese Cabbage

STEP BY STEP

How to Prepare

  1. Boil the water in the large pot, add the dried kombu seaweed to soak. Add Beef Broth and Salty Soy Sauce.
  2. Clean & cut up the Carrots, Enoki, Shiitake Mushrooms and Chinese Cabbage into smaller slices. Cut the tofu into small cubes.
  3. Remove the Kombu Seaweed from the boiling water to a different bowl to avoid it overcook. Add noodle in the soup.
  4. Use chopsticks start dipping the meat, vegetables and tofu in the Soup until cooked. Put Sesame Oil in the Soup (optional)
  5. Use Ponzu to dip the meat and vegetables.
  6. Enjoy it while it’s hot!
