Beef Black Pepper with Broccoli
500 gr Beef
300 gr Broccoli (rinsed)
1 pc Onion (chopped)
5 cloves Garlic (chopped)
1 cm Ginger (chopped)
2 tsp Sweet Soy Sauce
2 tbsp Oyster Sauce
1 tsp Sesame Oil
1 tsp Olive Oil
1 tbsp Corn Starch (dilute in 100 mL Hot Water)
1 tbsp Ground Black Pepper
1 tsp Sesame Seeds
2 tsp Salt (or more to taste)

Brisket, Knuckle, Cuberoll, Chuck Tender
STEP BY STEP
- Boil 500 mL of Water and add 1 tsp of Salt. Add the broccoli and cook it for ±1 minute. Remove it and plunge it on a bowl of ice water.
- Heat the pan, and add Olive Oil, Onion, Garlic and Ginger to golden brown. Add in the Beef, Water and bring it to boil. Lower the heat to low-medium heat temperature, add Salt, Sweet Soy Sauce, OysterSauce, and Black Pepper.Adjust the taste to your preference. Add corn starch and cook for another ±5minutes.
- Add the Blanched Broccoli, and stir-fry with the beef for ±1.5minutes to have it crisp. If you prefer the broccoli to be soft, then you can cook it longer.
- Place it on a plate and top it with Black Pepper & Sesame Seeds. Enjoy it with a hot bowl of rice just like the Asian way!
